When we thought we couldn’t burst with pride anymore, the Y5 children raise a huge £1,274 for @F2bHcampaign in remembrance of our wonderful teacher Mrs Rackham. The colour run symbolised the strength, joy and brightness Mrs Rackham showed us all. 🖤🤍
Thank you to PC Taylor who came in to give a very insightful career talk with year 5&6 this afternoon, the children gained an incredible amount from the talk not only from a career perspective but also how to be good citizens 👮 🚨 🚓🚔
Year 6 celebrated @worldbeeday by drawing a Birds Eye view of our school and labelling where we can find bee’s 🐝 and looking at where we can make improvements to help them! 🌺
Today’s theme for celebration of the word in 5LB was to ‘give it everything you had’. We listened to the words of the scripture where the offering widow gave everything she said. This doesn’t always mean money, it can be: joy, love and hope. 🤍
Today, children from Reception participated in a Cross Country competition at Cheadle Catholic Infants. We couldn't ask for more, as all children enjoyed it and two of them became 1st in boys and 1st in girls.
What a blast year 4 had today! We had a fantastic day in Chester learning about the Romans and we most certainly were the liveliest, loudest soldiers marching through the streets today.
What a beautiful whole school mass we had this morning to celebrate the Crowning of Our Lady. Beautiful flowers, beautiful reading and even more beautiful singing. Well done children and thank you to Father Damien for making everything you do with us so special.
Some Y5 children spent time in the sunny parish garden this morning saying a decade of the rosary on this special day, 1st May. Fr Damien and Emily Cahill from @laudatosicentre joined us to think about ways to lead other children in praying the rosary outdoors. Thank you Emily.
5LB had a beautiful celebration of the word in the prayer garden. We reflected on the hope that was bought to us through the resurrection and gave thanks to God for providing us with such a beautiful world 🍃 🌍
Huge congratulations to Daisy in Y6 for being our first pupil to achieve the PLATINUM Young Duke of Edinburgh award 🥇 A huge well done, we are so proud 😊
Thank you to Sam Flynn for coming in to speak to Y5 about her career. Sam is a digital wellbeing and social media coach, trainer and speaker. She gave the children a fantastic insight into her day-to-day role and talked about the demands to her job. Another great career talk!📲🎤
Well done to our school council who have raised an amazing £226 with the Easter raffle, congratulations to all the winners who received their prize this afternoon 🐣🥚🪺 Happy Easter
