Katie is beyond missed in the soccer world but also on her campus, with her friends, and with family. She never failed to smile at those she met, answer messages from young goalkeeping hopefuls, and create long-lasting bonds. After her passing, her family started Katie’s save. A platform dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for necessary changes in collegiate athletics to protect student-athletes from situations where they feel like they have no one.
