College coaches don’t care if you get a hit. If 3 out 10 times means success, that means college coaches know there is a 70% chance they will see you fail while watching your games. How you run that ground ball out is important. How you hustle back in the dugout and cheer is important. How you sprint back on the field is important. There is a 70% chance they’ll see you fail, that’s why they don’t ask about your batting average, they ask about your character.
