The Pistons won in OT, 104-98. Thomas scored 34 PTS and Adrian Dantley had 20 PTS/8 AST. Chicago's Michael Jordan had 21 PTS/12 REB/10 AST.

The Mariners are now in sole possession of first place in the Del Rey League.
The Saints trailed 42-35 at the end of the third quarter but used a 10-0 run to take a 45-42 lead early in the fourth quarter but could not hold on for the win.
