Notes from #SMX Advanced Ranking helps, but it does not explain AI citations. A #1 Google ranking is not a receipt for AI visibility. In one benchmark, position 1 earned an AI citation 37% of the time. Rankings still matter. They just do not get to be the whole plan.

What an amazing week in Boston. #smx Advanced @smx, you really outdid yourself. 15 years in the industry, first time speaking at a national search conference, and I'm still buzzing from it. Getting to be part of the keynote was something I'll never forget. But the best part wasn't the stage. It was the people. • To everyone who organized this event, thank you for running something so seamless and so welcoming. • To the speakers I got to learn from and trade ideas with, you raised my game. • And to everyone whom I spoke with to share a thought, ask a question, or just say hello, those conversations meant more than you know. This industry is full of brilliant, generous people, which is why I love being part of it. Already looking forward to what's next.
