Why are Digital Marketing conferences so special (for me)?
I'll give you seven reasons.
1) an excuse to get part of the @Optidge team together to learn, bond, and have fun
2) catching up with special friends and peers like @AkvileDeFazio, @coryhenke , @PPCKirk , @brie_e_anderson, @RossHudgens, @andreacruz92, @jyllsaskingales, @cshel, @runnerkik, and many others
3) meeting and making new friends!
4) bumping into SEVERAL of my past guests on The Digital Marketing Mentor Podcast.
5) as my colleague Joseph Wolf puts it... "while 20% of the talks teach us something new 80% confirm that what we are doing is right :)"
6) seeing my ODEO Academy alumni shine in the world of digital marketing and experience her first conference
7) be inspired and motivated by such great industry rock stars like Wil Reynolds and Rand Fishkin- there's no words for your keynotes!!

What an amazing week in Boston. #smx Advanced @smx, you really outdid yourself.
15 years in the industry, first time speaking at a national search conference, and I'm still buzzing from it.
Getting to be part of the keynote was something I'll never forget. But the best part wasn't the stage. It was the people.
• To everyone who organized this event, thank you for running something so seamless and so welcoming.
• To the speakers I got to learn from and trade ideas with, you raised my game.
• And to everyone whom I spoke with to share a thought, ask a question, or just say hello, those conversations meant more than you know.
This industry is full of brilliant, generous people, which is why I love being part of it.
Already looking forward to what's next.
