ANOTHER HOMELESS MAN FOUND DEAD IN BIRMINGHAM CHURCH YARD💔 R.I.P 🕯️ The body of a man was discovered in a Birmingham churchyard this morning, December 4. West Midlands Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious. A section of Birmingham's Georgian St Paul's Square was sealed off for much of Monday morning, with the emergency services at the scene. A cordon ran for about 15ft around the edge of St Paul’s Church, opposite hotel St Paul’s House. Public access to the churchyard itself was blocked, but there were no road closures. The discovery came after several nights of freezing conditions across the Midlands A private ambulance arrived and left the scene in under ten minutes, and members of the public were seen asking police questions about what had happened. By 11am the scene had cleared. A West Midlands Police spokesperson confirmed "The body of a man was discovered in St Paul's Square, Birmingham, at just before 8.50am today, December 4. "The death is not believed to be suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner." A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a medical emergency at St Pauls Church at 8.27am, one ambulance and a paramedic officer attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man. Sadly, it quickly became apparent nothing could be done to save him and he was confirmed dead at the scene." St Paul's Square is home to St Paul's Church, which opens every day for set worship. The square has a church yard and gravestones, all with open access to the public. Birmingham experienced cold temperatures this weekend, with daytime highs of just 2C, and is in for more miserable weather for the rest of the week.
