Federal Council Spokesman André Simonazzi, who managed the @BR_Sprecher account, passed away unexpectedly on 10.5.24. Shocked and sad, the Swiss government extends deepest condolences to his family. The Federal Chancellery will maintain the account for the Federal Council.
Bundesratssprecher André Simonazzi, der diesen Account verwaltete, ist am 10.5.24 unerwartet verstorben. Der Bundesrat ist bestürzt und spricht den Angehörigen sein tiefstes Beileid aus. Der Account wird von der Kommunikation der Bundeskanzlei für den Bundesrat weitergeführt.

This incredible video was captured by the International @Space_Station at 11:31 UTC on 17 February 2023. It shows the eye of a tropical cyclone called #Freddy, which is located over the Indian Ocean to the east of Madagascar. It is predicted to hit Madagascar on 21 February.
