For all the techies who look at a day off as a good time to upgrade the router, wireless or virtualization services in the home. DON’T DO IT!
Your familial and marital relationships COULD be at risk if you disrupt home internet services when there is a concentration of family!

Working a wireless network design for a customer and reviewing the floorplan. Oh look - the customer has a 'golf simulator' on this floor. Yeah - that's needs an AP in there. And we have to be able to PING it. :)

Got an obvious phishing message confirming my transaction with Paypal to buy BitCoin. Since it's down a bit lately I'm going to wait a few days for it to recover then start to demand my money in sale of that BitCoin.

I was helping a customer with some legacy SNMP configs. He was asking about blocking certain MIBs and branches so I told him about SNMP-views and said "It's essentially blocking SNMP requests so you get a 'These are not the OIDs you are looking for'".
