This month marks the 10th anniversary of the Brexit vote. Scotland voted 62-38% to remain in the EU, but we had Brexit imposed on us anyway. We have been paying the price ever since.
Northern Ireland remaining in the EU single market for goods means we have an entire region running as a counterfactual on how much wealthier we’d have been had we stayed. It’s actually outperformed London.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 BREAKING: Parliament backed our plans for a private jet tax and a mansion tax. In a cost of living crisis, it is right that those with the broadest shoulders contribute a bit more - while the majority of taxpayers in Scotland continue to pay less tax than elsewhere in the UK.

📸 Great to be out in Arbroath today with the First Minister, meeting SNP activists and visiting local businesses including E&O Fish and The Bellrock Restaurant. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 On Thursday 18 June, vote SNP for an MP who will stand up for Arbroath and Broughty Ferry — and who will always be on Scotland’s side.

Looking forward to speaking on this debate later today. West Lothian has a rich energy history and we must be part of that future too.
Labour promised to cut energy bills, but in July they are rising again. People in energy-rich Scotland should not be paying some of the highest bills in Europe. Scotland should control its energy - and today we will vote to demand the devolution of energy powers to Holyrood.

The Scottish Parliament voted for Scotland to have the powers to hold an independence referendum. Because Scotland’s future should be decided by the people of Scotland.

Scotland has delivered a clear democratic mandate. The SNP remains the largest party, and the strongest pro-independence majority in Holyrood’s history has been secured. If this is truly a union of equals, Westminster must respect Scotland’s democratic choice. Democracy is

It is an honour to have been selected as the SNP candidate for Arbroath and Broughty Ferry. Thank you to everyone who voted for me, I will not let you down. Stephen Gethins has been working tirelessly for the area and it would be a privilege to continue his work, alongside him, as your MP. The campaign starts now, and I’ll be out every day making the case for urgent action on the cost of living, the energy crisis, and for our independence. thecourier.co.uk/fp/politics…
