Why make another turn-based tactics game?
Because most punish mistakes but don't teach from them.
We want you to lose - then immediately see WHY you lost. And think: "Next time I'll flank from the left".
That moment of clarity > winning.
That's S.O.S.

Imagine chess where pawns shoot through pieces.
Now imagine you can't see which pieces block shots. You just guess. And lose because "bad luck".
That was our old line-of-fire system.
New version: you always see shot range BEFORE moving. No luck. Only miscalculation.

Today we argued if a wounded unit lose 1 or 2 action points?
Sounds minor? It decides: will players risk their last soldier to save a teammate or just retreat?
Old version: wounded = almost dead.
New version: wounded = tactical choice.
Heroic sacrifice or survive at any cost?
We reread your old comments. Even the harsh ones.
"Cover system is broken."
You were right. It was a black box.
Now every miss has a reason. Every hit is logical.

2 years of silence.
Not gone. Not cancelled. By circumstances beyond our control, we had to restart almost from scratch.
The 2022 version was "almost good". Players finished it in one evening. Tactics = guessing AI moves.
Not why we make turn-based games.

We're soooo back! π½
After 2 years of silence, S.O.S. is rising again. New mechanics, deeper tactics, same cosmic chaos.
Stay tuned for the new beginning.

We completed the model and then criticized it ourselves π.
1. "Lights up like a Christmas tree"
2. "Dust must be different"
3. "Why are there blood stains on a closed mechanical suit" (it's really hard to argue here)

Friends, we want to admit that we are now in the active stage of searching for an investor or publisher. Therefore, we will be grateful for any help. You can ask questions here - mark.sosproject@gmail.com (messages in Direct can be lost. Sorry, there are really a lot of themπ₯)
Boasting π
We won the competition from Igroprom in 2 nominations at once: "Best Game Design", "Best 3D Graphics".
And the whole team thanks the organizers for the cool prizes π
Congratulations to everyone who celebrates Christmas.
Our team wants only goodness, good news and invited (or at least pleasant) guests to come to your house.
Happy holiday.
