This is incredible work! We can’t wait to see this coordination platform come to life — helping helpers like us get RVs to families faster.
18 months of disaster relief research after Hurricane Helene The resources are there, people want to help, but coordination is a nightmare We set out to tackle this HubSpot DB and a landing page helped us surface 4,000 missing people Lovable got us to a working prototype and our first round of funding @openclaw, Opus, Claude Code, Supabase and Slack got us to our MVP Now we’re closing in on the first agentic-forward community coordination platform to get people the help they need There is no such thing as a survivor We’ve seen people who lost everything and cleared debris from their neighbors driveways to get them out People who used their donated RVs to cook meals for others Sales guys who started nonprofits delivering RVs across the country Everyone is a helper. It’s our job to spin the coordination flywheel and enable them to contribute meaningfully We’ve started onboarding a few NGOs to the MVP, if you’re in the disaster relief field on the EMS, gov, NGO or organizer side - reach out. We’ve got a few spots left Citizen tools coming soon, sneak peek below 🆘

Thornton just escaped an absolute tragedy thanks for firefighters. This seriously could have been the Marshall fire 2.0 had the winds been stronger. Unreal stop despite losing a lot of vehicles and a couple small structures at what appears to be a salvage yard. Amazing stop before the school. #COwx #ThortonFire #wildfire #fireweather

Fire is now contained, crews will remain on scene to extinguish hot spots. Thanks to the quick response and coordinated efforts of all fire departments, nearby homes were successfully protected.

Hearing reports of people trapped in cars waiting to be plowed out of this blizzard. 28 degrees tonight. If you can't reach 911, drop a pin on the map for visibility. You can also find warming shelters, overnights and hospitals if need be.

GOOD NEWS: With support from a $3 million grant from the state, @nc_missions has now completed repairs on almost 500 homes! I am grateful for their efforts. So many nonprofits have stepped up to help western North Carolina rebuild and recover. These organizations are a critical part of NC’s recovery team, but they cannot do it alone.

FEMA Budget: $33.1B/year. Red Cross Budget : $3B/year. @EmergencyRv : All-volunteers. No offices. One beat-up truck and a mission to shelter natural disaster survivors. Annual budget: <$200K. Now they’re asking us to help shelter elderly Texas flood survivors. We’ve already sheltered 5 families in Texas and have more RVs on the way. And yes, we will shelter this elderly couple too. Don’t take our word for it—see the email from FEMA below.👇 The system is broken. We’re not part of the system - we’re the solution. People helping people. Help us do what billion-dollar orgs can’t: givebutter.com/EmergencyRV

Elaine and her son Chad lost their beloved mother/grandmother (Memaw), and their family home in the London, KY tornadoes last week. Today, @EmergencyRv gifted mom and son a 5th Wheel RV so they can start to put the pieces of their life together again in a place of their own. Heartbroken for this families loss. Grateful to our volunteers and donors for making this happen. There are so many more. Help us. givebutter.com/EmergencyRV

I think the most miraculous story I heard while being in London KY was from an elderly man. We both stood next to each other, not saying a word, just taking in the scene and processing it. After a couple minutes of silence he says “ it’s astonishing that that used to be my home” as we look down at a red car on top of what used to be part of his home. I said “with all due respect sir, how are you alive?” What he would go on to tell me was nothing short of a miracle. He explained to me that him and his wife woke up to the tornado sirens and realized they had no time to drive to safety. So they simply sat at the kitchen table and held hands saying goodbye and that they loved each other. He proceeded to tell me how at first he could hear debris falling from the sky and hitting the roof. Then a loud roar, followed by each and every wall crumbling and being stripped away from them. Nothing was left standing except for one single thing. The table they both sat at. “It’s truly the work of God as to why I can sit here and talk to you” he finished with. If this isn’t a story about the wonders of tornadoes I don’t know what is. I wish I got the man’s name and phone number, but in the off chance he sees this. You sir gave me a story that will stick with me forever. Thank you for sharing your story.

Spent a special #MothersDay delivering an @EmergencyRv to 95-year-old Arzella Dennis in Oklahoma. After surviving a wildfire that destroyed her home—and losing her insurance after multiple hailstorm claims—she moved in with her grandson’s family but longed for her independence. Thanks to your support, we were able to gift her a beautiful Emergency RV. Her strength, faith, and spirit are truly inspiring. Thank you to everyone who helps us provide shelter and dignity to families in crisis. givebutter.com/EmergencyRV

Our friends at @SOS_helpers donated their time and talents to revamp and enhance our tech stack to add heat mapping, matching tech, and cleaner impact reporting for deliveries @EmergencyRv has made in the US following natural disasters. We can’t wait to see the final product and are so grateful to the entire @SOS_helpers team!
