Last weekend was the first weekend of our split weekend Mountain Leader Training and Jonty & Dave were out with the team. 3 days of navigating, introducing ropework and steep ground, emergency procedures and hazards all wrapped up in leadership.

Scotland really is beautiful, and the colours at this time of year are brilliant.
Jonty and I spent a few days up in the North East last week. A day walking around the Dunnet Head headland and a day doing a section on the John o' Groats Trail from Helmsdale to Berridale.

A chilly first Mountain Leader Assessment preparation weekend. It did not stop Jonty and Kev taking two teams of 4 out navigating in some fairly serious conditions. Thankfully the steep ground day was a little nicer but chilly on the hands.
