SPCA is all about building relationships to create community partners. Our newest group, Summit Funding, volunteered recently and spent the morning loving on a number of our 4-legged friends, as well as helped to make dog enrichment. Medical Monday highlights the healing, hope, and second chances made possible by our dedicated veterinary team. Every day, they provide expert, compassionate care to help adoptable pets recover and thrive —for pets like Lint! Lint arrived with many other cats during a rescue mission through SPCA’s Shelter2Shelter program. It was clear she had a few issues, including a dislocated knee beyond repair. Today, on #MemorialDay, we pause to honor the brave U.S. military personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Our humane society honors and sustains deep respect for servicemen and women both in life and in remembrance. At SPCA Cincinnati, we proudly support veterans and active military members every day through our Veterans Pet Adoption Program and Veterans Dog Walking Team. We are deeply grateful to these amazing veterans who this year helped to rescue pets at our shelter, continuing to demonstrate selflessness.
