Earlier this week, we had the pleasure of hosting agents as part of the Cambridgeshire & Bedfordshire Fam Trip, organised by the British Boarding Schools Network. 🌟 The visit was a fantastic opportunity to showcase life at Stephen Perse Cambridge and give agents a real insight into our school community. Members of our Senior Leadership Team, including our Principal, Head of Admissions, Head of Pastoral Care and Boarding, as well as one of our Heads of Year, Abigail, gave talks to provide a comprehensive overview of what a Stephen Perse education and experience looks like. Agents then toured the school with our students hearing first-hand about their experiences and having the chance to ask questions directly. This was followed by a tour of our boarding facilities and a nutritious and tasty lunch, providing a true sense of a typical day at Stephen Perse! A big thank you to the BBSN for their hard work in organising these trips and to everyone who joined us—it was great to meet so many people and build new connections. Our school community came together for a moving, whole school, Remembrance Day assembly delivered by the History Society. They guided us in reflecting on the impact of the war, not just on distant battlefields, but right here in our own city of Cambridge, helping us connect to stories that are close to home. We collectively observed a two-minute silence, followed which one of our talented students played The Last Post on the trumpet, filling the room with the solemn notes that reminded us of courage, sacrifice, and hopes of lasting peace across the world. #RemembranceDay2024 #StephenPerseCambridge
