We are saddened to hear of the news of Allen Bethel's passing.
He was the founder of Stocksbridge Park Steels, being critical to the merger of Stocksbridge Works and Oxley Park. Put simply, without him we would have no club to support.

Bethel also served as a coach at the grassroots level as well as being a player himself.
He will be greatly missed not just by Stocksbridge fans, but by the wider football community.
