I also got to attend the NASRO Conference @NASRO_Info in Arizona. Got to learn a lot with an incredible group of guys and meet others from all over as well.

Well Summer is coming to a close and the new school year is about to begin. So what have I been up to during then? Well I had the privilege to help with the Allen Police Junior Police Academy. It was a blast. Hope anyone interested will sign up next year 😄

NASRO would like to recognize Officer Matthew Johnson of the Allen Police Department (Texas) as this month's SRO of the Month after he saved a high school student suffering from an opioid overdose on school property.
Congratulations SRO Johnson and keep up the great work!

Bolin elementary theme for Red Ribbon week today was “Superhero day.” I was informed by the coaches there (@BlazerPalm Coach Palmertree and Coach Mel) that they were dressing up as “real life heroes.” They’re amazing and they even gave me a special delivery. Crumbl cookies!!!

It’s CTE week at Ford Middle School. Today we had the Allen High School students from the Agricultural, Sciences and JROTC sharing about their individual groups. I even attempted the pull-up challenge the JROTC set up.

Today I got to be at the @AllenSTEAM. Since it was such a nice day I took a stroll and ran into “Bobby” the Bobcat along with a very angry little snake that Security was able to rehome. Of course hung out with the resident Bearded Dragon “Vern,” and a dinosaur

Thursdays I get to watch over the girls Volleyball games Ford Middle School and tonight was the 7th grade team.@Ford_GMustangs They allowed me to warm up with them. Thanks for including me. (Sorry I’m not that great a Volleyballer😅)

Got to be a part of National Walk to School day at @BolinElementary. Got to provide safety for the walkers and for crossing roadways. Even had mobile Cones that helped traffic. Thanks to Coach Palmertree @BlazerPalm and Coach Mel.
