5 co-moderators facilitating weekly livechats (Monday 7-8pm Eastern) on #sschat since 2010 -- supporting & connecting social studies teachers at all levels
If you'll be attending #NCSS2024 in Boston next weekend, we hope you'll consider attending the #sschat unconference Saturday morning. It starts at 9:45 and goes until 11:15 but you can dip in as you can. We'll be in Room 200. Hope to see you there!
Dear#sschat Community Members:
It is with a heavy heart that the SSChat moderators learned today that one of our long-time #sschat contributors and community members, Bill Chapman, passed away this weekend for health related reasons.
Bill, we know you are up there continuing to teach the history of angels π and the afterlife, probably integrating a podcast, π§ website π» or AI π§ somehowβwe will miss you! Thank you for the impact you have had on us, and on our students. π«
Please share ideas, resources, strategies, etc. that you came across at #ncss2024#ncss24. If you were unable to come to Boston, what questions do you have about the conference? What would you like to get information about? We are also sharing on π¦.
Less than 24 hours to the start of the #sschat unconference at #ncss2024#ncss24. We will be in Room 200 from 9:45 to 11:15 Saturday for attendee-focused PD. Hope to see you there!
