“We’ll be able to sell that data commercially just like we did on Blue Ghost Mission one over five years, and it’s gonna help NASA scientists understand the physical futures of the moon. Commercial companies can buy the data so that they can survey where the best place is to mine for minerals.”
Kim also points to rising demand for future moon bases, where the same data becomes critical for deciding where to build and how to operate.
