The school organised Inter-House Football Competition for U-15 & U-17 categories for the Session 2026-27 from 09 to 12 Jun 26. The competition witnessed a total of 12 teams from six different Houses competing with great zeal and sportsmanship.

Col D K Vishwakarma, Principal, complimented the budding players and felicitated the winners with medals, certificate of appreciation and the championship trophy. The players of the runners-up teams also received medals and certificate of appreciation from the Principal.

SSG organised a motivational talk featuring distinguished Ex-SSGian,Col Bhaskar Jyoti Hazarika, on 12 Jun 26. On the occasion,Col D K Vishwakarma, Principal, felicitated Col Hazarika with a traditional Assamese 'gamosa' and a school memento as a mark of respect and appreciation.

As part of the celebration of the 'International Yoga Day', a total of 85 cadets of SSG along with ANOs and NCC staff of the school participated in a 'Yoga' session at Surya Pahar on 10 Jun 26.

SSG celebrated the ‘World Environment Day’ with great enthusiasm on 05 Jun 26. The programme commenced with a cleanliness drive conducted across the school campus, during which all cadets and faculty members participated wholeheartedly.

Cadet Priyam Pratim Dutta of Class X delivered an insightful speech in the school assembly highlighting the significance of ‘World Environment Day’ and the collective responsibility of individuals towards protecting and preserving the environment for future generations.

Also, a painting competition was organised for the cadets to promote environmental awareness among them through creativity.

The competitions witnessed participation from cadets belonging to three different categories i.e. Sub-Juniors (Classes VI & VII), Juniors (Classes VIII & IX) and Seniors (Classes X & XI).

As part of the awareness programmes organised by the school, Mrs Nilima Phukon, School Nursing Assistant, delivered an informative talk on "Primary Management of Snake and Animal Bites" during the school assembly on 03 Jun 26.

During her address, Mrs Phukon sensitised the cadets about the immediate first-aid measures to be undertaken in the event of a snake or animal bite, the importance of seeking timely medical assistance, and the precautions to be observed to prevent such incidents.

As part of “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB)” programme, the school organised a 'Folk Dance' activity on paired state on the theme ‘The Culture of Paired State (Rajasthan)’ on 27 May 26 among the girl cadets of the school. It was coordinated by Dr Sanjoy Deka, TGT.
