This Week's Nati Report is here! Honestly, there isn't a ton of good news locally. Colleges are all on breaks, the Reds went 1-5, Bengals are in the dead of offseason, and FCC is on the World Cup Break. However, @UKAthletics had a great week on the hoops front! I mentioned there were two @GoBEARCATS writers... Meet Noah Crigler! You may know him from running @CalhounsCats, and he'll be joining the SSM team to bring his 🔥 graphics to the team, as well as covering the Bearcats! @criglermedia! I'm a lifelong college basketball fanatic from Northern Kentucky with deep roots in the sport. My family connection to the game runs through my great-uncle, John Crigler, who played on the legendary "Fiddlin' Five" University of Kentucky teams under Adolph Rupp and helped capture a national championship. Despite that Kentucky connection, my heart has always belonged to Cincinnati Bearcats athletics. My love for the University of Cincinnati began as a kid listening to my dad tell stories about the glory years of Bob Huggins and grew even stronger during the Mick Cronin era. Some of my favorite Bearcats over the years include Sean Kilpatrick, Gary Clark, Deonta Vaughn, and Jarron Cumberland. My friends often joke that I'm a college basketball "sicko". I love diving into recruiting, tracking prospects, uncovering every detail I can find, and following the future of the program. Whether it's breaking down a new commitment, analyzing roster construction, or discussing the latest recruiting developments, I'm always eager to talk Bearcats basketball.   I'm also a proud father, with my son turning one this year. I can't wait to bring him to Fifth Third Arena and Nippert Stadium in the coming years, just as my father did with me. I'm incredibly excited for the opportunity to work alongside Michael Boston and Hunter Samson and contribute coverage/write for fellow Bearcats fans. Feel free to reach out on X or social media anytime. I always love talking ball with fellow Bearcats fans!

End of regulation, Asher Elson gets fouled and goes 1/2 to send it to OT

These freshman are GOOD -House’s jumper is beautiful, he’s got 3 or 4 threes already -Elson knows where to be, getting tons of opportunities

Moved to full court play and I’m seeing a lot of three balls go down. Another thing to note, Tru is very scrappy and quick

Early thoughts: -Asher Elson has been a nice surprise so far -Mike Nwoko is as dominant and physical as we have heard -This team is very lengthy and physical
