As part of his visit, Wesley is now seeing what pupils at SSPP know about healthy eating and sports. We are hearing about the importance of a balanced diet from someone who needs the right fuel inside him to be at his peak performance levels in tournaments. #SSPP
It has been amazing to welcome GB Judo team member Wesley Greenidge to SSPP today. He has encouraged each child to take part in a sponsored training circuit. At the end of the hard work, the children are now hearing about Wesley’s Judo journey. #SSPP
It was a pleasure welcoming our @UNICEF_uk assessors today as we attempted to secure our third ‘Gold’ reaccreditation. As expected, our pupils loved showing about how children’s rights are at the heart of what we do. We look forward to the report being published in the future.
Year 6 are starting to create their controllable vehicles in DT. Their brief involves helping @Tesla into the delivery drone market. After days of drawing artistic impressions and technical plans, the making has begun. #SSPP
Next week, we welcome our assessor from @UNICEF_uk who'll be looking at the evidence which shows we remain (for a third time we hope) a Gold Level Rights Respecting School which puts Children's rights at the heart of what we do. We will be proud to showcase what goes on at #SSPP
After hearing that @metpoliceuk had sadly lost their funding for the annual Junior Citizenship Programme they coordinated, Mrs Leary has managed to organise @TfL to talk to our Year 6 pupils to help prepare them for life travelling to their secondary schools. #SSPP
It’s almost the end of our four days and I’m in a dark room with group 1 solving memory problems with the Tetris theme playing over and over (and over) again. I mean this would have been hard fresh on day one! #SSPP#Condover2026
Another busy morning for all groups. On a short break now before the afternoon activities kick in. Plus shhhhhh, don’t say it too loudly, but I can see a bit of blue sky! #SSPP#Condover2026
What a full morning - buggy building, sensory trails, archery tag and the death-defying trapeze. It’s a swap around afternoon for those activities again, with different groups getting into the action. #SSPP#Condover2026
Some very brave souls in Group 1 and 2 abseiled their way from great heights (and they were even generously given a harness and ropes!) this afternoon. #SSPP#Condover2026
After a long, but issue free journey, Year 6 had their lunch and a good run around. A sight tour has taken place and we are shortly heading to our first activities. Abseiling for some and Lazer Maze for others #SSPP#Condover2026
