Today, 19 months later, we officially ended the Secrets of the Ancients campaign.
It was hands-down the most epic campaign we have ever attempted and the whole thing ended as nail-biting exciting as I could have possibly hoped.

I belong to several communities for various RPGs, and one infuriating constant is whenever someone pops in with, "What adventure do you recommend to teach a total newbie like me the ropes?" some assface always pushes the biggest, most complicated mega-campaign. Stop doing that!

I get it, people love Call of Cthulhu's "Masks of Nyarlathotep", Traveller's "Pirates of Drinax", Delta Green's "Impossible Landscapes", but for fuck's sake stop telling newbies to start with those. You don't give a kid with a learner's permit a Formula One. Let them learn first.

Taking a nap and awoke to the terrible realization I hadn't requested tomorrow off from work and now it was too late to put in a request.
It took a bit before I remembered that not only have I been self-employed for 8 years, I'd left that particular job in 2006.

The fact Mongoose opened up Classic Traveller to write Community Content for is a pretty big deal.
The TAS Community Content Program has been around for years for the MgT2 edition, but now that Mongoose has full rights to the Classic edition they added it to TAS.
