Yesterday was World Pre-eclampsia Day (22nd May)👶 Preeclampsia (PE) is a serious pregnancy complication that affects thousands of pregnant women/people and their babies. STARshiP is COMING SOON! We're investigating a new first trimester PE screening test for preeclampsia! ⭐️🤰

A fantastic day at our first co-applicant meeting, very productive and some great discussions!💬 We're really looking forward to working with APEC in this journey, an amazing charity that raises awareness of pre-eclampsia, and provides information and support to those affected💙

Yesterday evening we had our introductory Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) group meeting with all the parents interested in helping with the STARshiP study!⭐️ This was such a positive meeting and we'd like to thank everyone who turned up and engaged with us!💙
