Just notified that our district is deleting Google Classroom from our @gsuite options. Does anyone know an efficient way to save years' of work? Not the things saved to Drive.

For many students it can be most significant care - St. e in oaktown used to open at 6:30 or seven with very affordable HomeWork Club/Activities or chill space until six. Food available morning, noon, and after school. Teachers need much more support to make #backtoschool safe

To prevent teacher burnout - Rather than M-F run weeks full days MTThF with week starting in a Thursday - wed am used for student assessment- afternoon MASTER teachers transition for second cohort while students participate in safe weekend event - major cleaning done before swap

Google has/had a testing option that uses a camera as proctor - my old district IT master used it about five years ago with certification testing at an in service. The under the desk and up the sleeve cheat sheets are now replaced with another “iProduct”. 🍎iCheat🍏

Walk into my son's room.. taking his summer school online final. He hides his phone. No kidding he is googling the test answers. As we move remote we can't assess the same ways. They WILL Google it!!!
