A very exciting second game of the first round of the @CHSAA_NYC “AA” playoffs that went into overtime. @STP_Basketball held a double-digit lead heading into the third quarter, but then @Molloyhs came back behind the All-League selection Kelly Griffin, Jr., and pushed it to overtime. But the Eagles would go on to win the game, and will advance to the second round of the playoffs, where they will be playing against St. Raymond, which will be back here at St. Francis Prep on Thursday, Feb. 26th. Time TBA.

Today, we got to see some great action out in Staten Island in the @sihslhoops quarterfinals. • The @sewfalcons vs. @curtishs_bball game had a lot of energy & competitiveness. But @chris_albano1 led the Seahawks with 27 points and led them to a 56-48 victory over the Warriors and led them to the semifinals on Monday afternoon. • The second & penultimate game that we saw was the @SeaVikingsBball vs. @SI_Academy. In this one, the latter gave the former a run for their money. For 26 of the game’s 32 mins, there was a lot of suspense taking place. But @NickRebracca led the Sea Vikings with 27 points and helped his team advance to the semifinals on Monday with a 67-58 victory. They will be playing Wagner on Monday. In the event that either team wins on Monday, they will play the winner of the @STP_Basketball vs. @FarrellAthl semifinal game on Thursday, Feb. 12th for the @sihslhoops championship at 7 PM.
