Exciting times! Our own Medical Staffing Team @SWBHnhs went for a tour @MidlandMetUH it was a very much ‘wow’ moment! It’s amazing how everything had been taken into consideration from patients, staff, & the local community! Looking forward to the next chapter of this journey!

The A&E at City Hospital is now CLOSED. Patients who need emergency care should go to the A&E at the Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, B66 2QT.
For minor illnesses & conditions, use the Summerfield Urgent Treatment Centre, B18 7AL between 8am-8pm.

Our chaplains would like to welcome all patients, visitors and staff to our Spiritual Care Centre. Located on Level 5 of MMUH, it is open between 7am and 10pm for private prayer and meditation. Outside of these hours, please speak to a member of staff who will accompany you.

Day of remembrance for the country & a day never to forget as, after 135 years, City Hospital closed. Mixed emotions today for many, who were born there, trained there & worked there but @MidlandMetUH is now open. Here's an empty ED at City as a reminder of a day well delivered.
