The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust starts with you. Together we can make a difference. Be part of the Owls community and help shape the club's future!
Final day. 🦉
What started as an idea has become something truly special.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of Wednesdayites everywhere, we’ve now raised £82,188 towards helping supporters access Sheffield Wednesday matches.
The GoFundMe closes tonight, so if you’ve been meaning to donate, share, or tell a fellow Owl about it, now is the time.
Every pound raised will help us make a difference, and we’ll be meeting with the club after the fundraiser closes to agree exactly how the funds will be used, with full updates to follow.
A huge thank you to every single person who has donated, shared, encouraged and supported this effort. You’ve shown once again what this fanbase is capable of when it pulls together.
One final push.

What Wednesday fans have done here has been nothing short of incredible. Together we’ve now raised a staggering £81,798.
Every pound donated is another supporter saying they care about the future of our club, our community, and fellow Wednesdayites.
The GoFundMe closes on 14th June.
If you’ve been meaning to donate, now is the time. If you’ve already donated, please give it one final share.
Let’s see just how far we can take this.

The Trust Community Sub-group are planning another litter pick following the success of previous events.
Headed up by Maureen, the meeting will be on Saturday, 13th June at 1pm.
All volunteers are welcome, and full details on how to get involved are below.
🦉 Fundraising Update
A huge thank you to every single person who has donated so far. Your generosity has been incredible.
The funds pledged by our anonymous donor have now been received, taking the running total raised to an amazing £81,293.
As outlined in our latest members’ update, the GoFundMe will close on 14th June or when we reach £100,000, whichever comes first.
As per feedback received, we will also be introducing options via our website for supporters to continue contributing to schemes such as this on an ongoing basis. This will be done through a different method to avoid the fees associated with GoFundMe and similar platforms, ensuring more of your donation reaches its intended purpose.
Following the close of the fundraiser, we will be meeting with the club to discuss the next steps, after which further exciting updates will be provided on exactly how these funds will be used.
There’s still time to donate and be part of something truly special.

When I first got involved in pushing for change at Sheffield Wednesday, becoming Vice Chair of the Trust wasn’t something that ever crossed my mind. Like many, I just wanted to play my part in helping rid the club of an incompetent owner. It’s been some journey.
What matters is continuing the work and the transition into positive community impact.
If I receive a message, I’ll do my best to reply. If there’s a question regarding the Trust, please ask it. If I know the answer, I’ll tell you. If I don’t, I’ll tell you that as well. If it’s something I can’t discuss, I’ll be honest about that too.
I’ll continue to follow back as many as I can so people can drop a DM if there’s something they want to raise, or an idea.
People often talk about finding a voice for the fans. I’ve never really seen it that way.
The Trust shouldn’t be about a handful of people speaking for supporters. It should be about making sure every supporter has the opportunity to be heard.
As we’ve said in the latest member update, we’re looking at more ways for members to engage with us, challenge us and help shape what we do.
We’re here to listen, be accessible and I’ll give my all to help make sure members’ views are heard.
The Trust has achieved some incredible things thanks to a lot of volunteers putting in a lot of hours, and thousands of Wednesdayites pulling in the same direction. I’m proud to be part of that.
Plenty done. Plenty still to do.
It’s a great time to become part of the Trust if you’d like to join, please follow the below link.

£75,000.
Take a moment and let that sink in.
This isn’t just the biggest fundraiser the Supporters Trust has ever been involved in. It’s bigger than the protest fund. Bigger than the fundraising efforts that helped the club through administration.
It’s a reminder of what Sheffield Wednesday supporters can achieve when we come together behind a positive cause.
Thousands of fans. Hundreds of donations. One club.
To every single person who has donated, shared, promoted, encouraged others, or simply believed in what we’re trying to do - thank you.
£75,000 raised.
£40,000 from supporters.
£35,000 from an anonymous friend of Sheffield Wednesday and the Supporters Trust.
An incredible milestone.
But we’re not finished yet.

I promised the family I wouldn’t spend all holiday staring at my phone, but I’ve become slightly obsessed with checking this fundraiser and keeping the updates going.
Tonight we’re at £39,803 £35,000.
Honestly, it’s hard to put into words what Wednesday fans have achieved here. Hundreds of people coming together to help fellow supporters, local children and families create memories with our club.
Thank you to everyone who has donated, shared, commented or simply helped spread the word.
We’re incredibly close to another huge milestone now £75,000 total. If you’ve been meaning to chuck a few quid in, now would be a brilliant time.
Let’s break another barrier tonight.

We’ve seen what Wednesday supporters can achieve when we pull together.
Now let’s take that spirit into the new season.
Just 10 days remain until the first phase season ticket deadline. If you’re able to, back the team and secure your place at Hillsborough.
See you there.

We are just ten days away from the first phase deadline!
The response to our Season Ticket launch last month has been nothing short of exceptional!
For that, we thank you all as we look ahead with anticipation to a fresh era, a fresh start.
Join us on this exciting journey 🦉
The Sheffield Wednesday Supporters Trust has so far raised over £72k to help fans experience the joy of suporting the club. The money will go towards season tickets, mascot packages and replica kits for children for those who may not be able to afford them.

£72,017.
That’s the current figure.
Wednesday supporters have raised £37,017, unlocking the full £35,000 matching pledge.
From one idea to £72,017 of opportunity for people who otherwise might miss out.
Absolutely incredible.
But why stop there?
The fundraiser remains open until at least the 12th June. Every extra pound raised means more season tickets, more match tickets, more mascot experiences and more Wednesday shirts for those who need them most.
Keep going. Keep sharing. Keep proving that We’re All Wednesday Aren’t We.
