Don't worry, you're not bad at chess. You're actually bad at everything. Chess is just one of the only things with a good rating system.

A female GPS-tracked falcon flew from South Africa to Finland. In 42 days she flew over 10,000 km. That's 230 km per day. What have you achieved in the last 42 days? Source: buff.ly/3ArE2eq
Community note
This is not a falcon, but a European honey buzzard named "Päivi." The map shows her migration from South Africa to Finland April 15-June 1, 2015. Päivi received her transmitter at her nest in Vesilahti, Finland on August 13, 2013, and was last tracked in May 2019. luomus.fi/en/satellite-h… satelliitti.laji.fi/?lang=en&id=JX…

Motion to Vacate
Republicans are poised to deliver big, consequential change in Washington. Soon, we will vote for a responsible debt limit agreement that stops Democrats' reckless spending, claws back unspent COVID funds, blocks Biden's new tax schemes, & much, much more x.com/i/broadcasts/1LyxBqLAp…

It is how fiat currencies get their value (demand). You need what you owe someone else. There is a lot of dollar debt out there and that is a lot of demand for dollars.
Bolivia 🇧🇴 is looking to sell 50% of its Central Bank gold reserves due to the current dollar shortage. Dollar milkshake hitting hard here, looks like their Yuan and Ruble loans did not give them more dollars @SantiagoAuFund

If you are trying to create a deleveraging environment (QT), then you need over leverage players to fail. What is the most over leveraged sector? Banking.

This is 100% easing by the @federalreserve That said liquidity creation from the banking system likely has already dropped off the cliff.

The loans to banks isn’t QE. The purchase of UST wasn’t QE either — just providing liquidity to banks and the US Treasury. Those MBS purchases weren’t QE either just a little for more liquidity for housing market. I mean all for a limited duration and will be repaid.

The Federal Reserve has 3 real mandates. 1. Inflation 2. Employment 3. Economy They slowed the inflation fight to protect the economy. Inflation was still high and employment strong. They slowed the hikes from 75 to 25bps. The 3rd mandate is the most important one to them.
