Join us on Zoom Wednesday, April 23rd, at 18:00 CET for the next JoR-JNNFM-RA seminar. The speaker is Kendra Erk @KendraErk (Purdue) who will speak to us about "Property-Processing Relationships of Concentrated #Lamellar-Structured #Surfactant Solutions”
The Future of Rheology seminar series held their first ever in-person mini session at #SoR2024 on October 16. The SoR packed the room for these promising young rheologists! Congratulations to @KrutarthMKamani, Kushboo Suman, and @LaurelKroo who were recognized with awards!
Our latest work in collaboration with the @WagnerLab_UDel on developing data-driven solutions for accurate rheological predictions. Turns out with multi-fidelity neural networks, you can do this with almost no prior knowledge of underlying physics...

Such a wonderful scientist, colleague, and friend. Milad is an AI wizard and I’m so psyched to see what he’ll do next. Number 5 PhD from the group did a wide range of scientific machine learning explorations that will impact our research for years to come
Join us May 30th for two fantastic talks in our Future of Rheology Seminar Series: Enhancing Mixing and Reaction Kinetics in Porous Media by Christopher Browne and Multiscale Modeling of Entangled Polymer Rheology by Heyi Liang.
The Future of Rheology Seminar Series is excited to invite you to submit your abstracts for consideration as speakers in this prestigious series. Future of Rheology is a monthly virtual seminar series highlighting rheology research by students, post-docs, and other professionals.
Abstract submissions are officially being accepted for the Society of Rheology's 2024 Annual Meeting in Austin, TX! Join us Oct 13-17 for an exciting technical meeting, social program and vendor show celebrating everything that flows! rheology.org/sorabst/
The Future of Rheology Seminar continues Thurs, 1 pm EST with two great speakers: R B Venkatesh (UCSB) Nanoscale rheology of polymers in porous media and J John (U of Calgary): Investigation of active particle phase transitions in 2D colloidal crystals using interfacial rheology
Our group’s new website is up and running now… we’ll try to keep everything updated on “rheoinformatic” and you have access to all of our codes there. All feedback is greatly appreciated of course

Exciting start to 2024 with a few papers. Paper #3: using some well established network characterization tools, Deepak found “edge betweenness centrality” as a universal predictor of yielding in colloidal gels (maybe more generally for amorphous networks?) link.aps.org/doi/10.1103/Phy…
We look at network characteristics of colloidal gels, and find an elasticity-resilience correlation that allows one to revisit (back track) gelatin phase diagram from a series of static images at high fractions of colloids…
Exciting start to 2024 with a few papers. Paper #1: in collaboration with @RogersGroupUIUC we developed a neural network that constructs constitutive models from experimental data. All coded are available with the paper, give it a try… pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.23…
