Allowing any mention of FFP3s to be countered with "they have to be fit tested" is causing harm. Yes if you want to protect yourself & can do so wear a fit tested FFP3, but dentists are refusing to wear FFP3 for CEV patients because "they haven't been fit tested". FFP3>FFP2>FRSM

๐๐16 new dentists in 2 days - we now have over 100 practices on the site!!!!๐๐ All happy to wear FFP2/3, have windows open and many with air filters. Still lots of work to do but there are plenty of good practices out there. You do need to ask, but they will say yes!

Brilliant, thank you. Does masked mean surgical? Have you tried asking them to wear FFP2/3 ? It sounds like they would accommodate but a proper respiratory is basically our criteria for the directory . Thanks for sending in ๐

If you are visiting a dentist absolutely ask them about proper masking before you go. If you don't you will be met with a surgical, but we are finding something like 1 in 4 or 5 are really happy to change if asked. As always, tell us if you know a good practice!!
