I recently produced a (sponsored) demo of SafeSend’s tax workflow goodies
It’s all the stuff you wish your tax software did (that it’ll never do)
Things I like about it:
1️⃣ The new “Gather” feature is exactly what I’ve been wanting for the last 15 years (not an exaggeration)
2️⃣ Just let clients chuck a pile of docs into the system, and it’ll auto-complete the checklist for them
3️⃣ I can still let the client complete an organizer if they want to, but it makes them fillable
4️⃣ Their original bread and butter delivery automation remains the most fully featured way to ship returns
5️⃣ They’ve given me reason to believe they’re going to keep investing in AI, which is sorely needed in the tax space

Your PM doing a half-baked version of a thing you need, doesn’t eliminate your need for that thing
Especially when it’s so bad you don’t even use the feature!
Get the tool to do the job, then reassess next year
If you need a solution for the problem today, move forward with a solution that actually works, today
