F – Face (has their face fallen on one side?)
A – Arms (can they raise both arms and keep them there?)
S – Speech (is it slurred?)
T – Time to call 999

Would you know the difference between a heart attack and cardiac arrest?
Know what to do in these emergencies and help spread the word.

Heart attack – the person will usually be conscious and may experience symptoms including chest pain, dizziness and shortness of breath. Call 999 immediately.
Cardiac arrest – the person will be unconscious and not breathing, or not breathing normally. The faster you act, the better their chances of survival. Call 999 and start CPR immediately.
