🚨 Food-related violence was reported in #Mopti more frequently than in any other region in #Mali between 2019 and 2024. Looting of livestock was the most commonly recorded form of violence, with most incidents attributed to #JNIM militants.

Canadian doctor Ben Thompson tells the story of a doctor in Gaza who was forced to strip naked and stand for two days by Israeli occupation forces, urinating, and deficating where he stood.
He was only allowed then to treat his patients while naked.
