The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.

The irony is that India gets criticized because its investigations are public. Aviation safety depends on rapid and open sharing of lessons learned so the entire industry can benefit
China wants the benefits of that global system, but when it's time to contribute its own lessons, transparency disappears. A four-year delay defeats the very purpose of accident investigation

Over the past century, aviation has become one of the safest modes of transportation.
This success relies on a clear global consensus:
To thoroughly investigating accidents and transparently sharing the findings significantly reduces the likelihood of recurring tragedies.
China, however, appears to reject this collaborative approach.
Driven by a desire to protect its national image, Chinese authorities have a track record of obscuring facts and stalling international investigations.
A stark example is the China Eastern Airlines crash four years ago, which claimed 132 lives.
Although the tragedy is now widely attributed to a pilot murder-suicide, Chinese authorities actively buried the investigation report, prioritizing a meticulously crafted facade of perfection over global safety protocols.
This creates a concerning one-way street.
While China readily benefits from the global aviation safety database - learning from the investigative reports of other nations - its refusal to reciprocate denies the international community the critical opportunity to learn from its mistakes.

New website will improve the UI and overall user experience. However, the real challenge isn't the design itself
The real test is whether the website can handle the massive traffic spikes during peak booking hours, when lakhs of users try to access the website simultaneously
Improving backend infrastructure, load balancing, database performance, session management and overall scalability will have a much bigger impact on user experience than a fresh UI alone
