Honestly I think you’re more of a Disney fan than you are an animation fan, which is fine, but if you can’t handle people not liking what they see in a trailer for a new Disney release, that’s on you. Criticism is not the same as disrespect
I think it’s time i posted this again
I think my problem with the animation and film community is that they don’t practice what they preach. They say that they want animation to get more respect but then they call movies they don’t like unnecessary garbage soulless cash grabs. That’s not respecting animation and they act as if they’re allowed to say these things. They say that animation isn’t just for kids and it’s like okay “why can’t animation be for kids?” They treat animation being targeted towards kids is automatically a bad thing and it shouldn’t be. You want animation to get more respect, start showing it by acknowledging that kids can like animation just as much as adults can. Stop acting as if bad animated movies are an insult to the medium because that’s dumb. You don’t have to like every movie but you still have to respect them, that’s the only way animation is going to get more respect
