If 7/10 of Nigeria politicians have this mentality, Nigerians would have no business in japa to any other country cuz the infrastructure and the resources here would be top notch.
But because 8/10 of them see politic as a way of enriching themselves and associate, they will loot even furniture after their tenure.

That way, he will be the one to kill cow and cook all the delicious food and bring expensive wines. The government house is not a restaurant. I do not own a house in Abuja, if you see any house in the name of Peter Obi, confiscate it. Bala Mohammed under the GEJ administration offered me a plot and I rejected it."
This to me is not the man you want to host you if anything. Not because he can't buy the entire Transcorp Hotel if he wanted to, but because it attracts to him unnecesary distractions.

In the peak NDC crisis, the NDC presidential candidate visited the supreme leader of the NDC at his residence for reconciliation. Also, he visited his running mate, Musa Kwankwaso, at his residence.
I have often seen people hosting the NDC presidential candidate in their residence. Their Excellencies Goodluck Jonathan, Rotimi Amaechi, and Atiku have hosted the NDC presidential candidate in their residences.
