You maybe should have looked at the track record @elonmusk before putting all your chips on red. Did you seriously believe he would put balancing the budget ahead of entitlement reform, tax cuts, and eliminating pork necessary to get his friends elected? And the only way the budget has been balanced since 2001 was through economic growth - as in dot com economic growth. So if you want to balance the budget, make the economy (and matching tax rate) look a bit like 1998-2001. Or dramatically cut services, which clearly Congress is not behind. There isn’t enough meat in just the @DOGE areas of focus alone, or the department of education, or truly discretionary @DeptofDefense spending. Just saying. The math needs to math more. You whack all the government employees, you actually reduce revenues.

Tomorrow morning, in a few hours I will bid a final farewell to my eyes, my ears, my nose, my protector, my best friend, my partner and my son.
