The A102 is similar to the A100, but the big difference mechanically is the A-102 adds its own internal amplifier and speakers, including a reverberation unit and a fancier finish on the legs. The organ at Stephen Price's studio was in pristine condition, he purchased it directly from the original owner. The Leslie was a 147 and we mic'd it with a pair of Coles 4038s and a Wunder CM7 on the subwoofer. In addition, I connected a trek line-out that went directly from the Hammond to the Neve console, bypassing the Leslie (this gives me a nice low-end punch)."
