This week, officers at @STN_Airport have worked with UKBF as part of Op Karetu. A Border Force and FCO initiative raising awareness among young adults travelling to Mediterranean destinations who could be exposed to exploitation, criminality and illegal working .
An important part of #ProjectServator is engagement with the public. Today officers will be out all day walking the perimeter fence and talking to plane enthusiasts and members of the public. Working with the community we aim to disrupt terrorism and other criminal activity.
Alongside security staff from @theSESGROUP, officers from @EssexPoliceSTN regularly patrol the airport business park and Northern perimeter fence line. Together, we work to ensure the airport is protected from criminals and those wishing to disrupt flights.
Officers @STN_Airport carrying out Project Servator deployments will enlist the help of the community to develop a network of vigilance aimed at disrupting a range of criminal activity, including terrorism. Working together we’ve got security covered.
Yesterday, PC Hannah James from @EssexPoliceUK joined specially trained staff from @STN_Airport and the brave and courageous Valerie Lolomari from esxpol.uk/MrYZt to engage with passengers travelling through the airport and raise awareness of Female Genital Mutilation.
Day and Night, 24/7, 365 days a year, police officers, airport security, UKBF, and the wider airport community keep a watch over Stansted Airport. Together we work tirelessly to ensure passengers and those employed at the airport are kept safe.
As part of #ProjectServator, specially trained community officers deployed with Firearms Officers and Dog Units today in order to deter and prevent those wishing to disrupt the day to day business, or do harm at Stansted Airport. Together we work to keep Stansted safe!

Officers @STN_Airport deployed yesterday to ducks that had sadly been hit by a passing vehicle. Thankfully one of the ducks survived and airport 'old bill' were able to take it under their wing and look after it. It has a broken leg but is now in safe hands and on the mend.
