horse genetics is stuck in the past
Horse genetics is stuck in the past. So we built something new. Full genome sequencing (not a panel) → $299 (yes, below cost) We’re building a real dataset. We need genomes. Start with your horse. hardsix.com/products/full-dn…

the enterprise version of this will include logging for whatever actions/questions/guides and then if not from the start, will shortly be heavily incentivized to aggregate/anonymize and sell to training labs
million dollar idea: Clicky, but for: > onboarding enterprise customers > training employees on legacy systems billion-dollar industries (banks, airlines, insurance, gov) still run 40-year-old legacy software. refactoring or upgrading is near impossible. > or build the infrastructure to be able to train and distribute Clicky to these legacy systems. do yourself a favor and BUILD this! i wish i had the resource and time to do so

Moss is a fantastic form factor for collaborating with LLMs
Replying to @brsabel
Moss 0.9.0 is out! This release is a big step toward a simple idea: Moss presents information in the form factor that’s easiest to understand and act on. Some of my fav features & workflows ↓

you can just disrupt spotify
Claude Code iPod is a dream combo. In short: → Installed Rockbox because the iPod wouldn't mount when connecting to my Mac (it now mounts automatically) → Claude wrote a script to look for new files in my local music folder and auto sync → As a bonus: it uses ElevenLabs to generate DJ commentary (using the voice of Stryker from Burnout 3) to big me up/recap my day via insights from my Obsidian notes and introduce an auto-created playlist for my evening walk with the dog It all happens automatically when I plug it in via USB. This is fun.

Rough POV & thoughts from a product person that bleeds into design. Advancement has always been about value. Specifically, producing it and communicating…
is the final success metric for design just being a really great product manager? thoughts on the recent @lennysan’s data

A lot of these inputs are being democratized by ai tools. Roles and titles matter so much less than things like understanding what needs to be true for your company to realize value from an idea.

It has never been easier to ship a better ui but that does not mean it (a) will get shipped or (b) should be. Which is to say, learning how to ship isn’t enough (never was).

you can just disrupt Figma now
Introducing Layout Mode for Agentation, a new way to explore and wireframe directly on the page. Rearrange and resize existing elements, add new components, and generate structured design feedback for your agent.

The race is on!
The future of design tools is open-source. Vibe-code an editor that fits your workflow, embed it in your own app, build a VS Code extension with a design surface, run linting in CI. Good luck getting any of that from a proprietary SaaS. Those who followed figma-use: design linting, accessibility checks, all of that is coming to OpenPencil too.

Sidebar/shower thought --> Figma needs to expose comments/comment history to the MCP if not already. It'd entrench it more into product dev lifecycle by sketching a "memory" of design decisions/taste

this would also naturally lead to figma comments just being prompts

If you want this but with Claude code lmk
This is how a code factory should work. I was waiting at the doc’s office and filed 6 bugs - all from my phone. 1 is already merged, 2nd is merging, 3-6 are getting done in parallel. Using Symphony Codex (Elixir, Codex App Server, Linear, GitHub)
