Jeez, that is a sickener. Great fight back on the night from #GTFC, and it seemed the tide had turned in their favour again at a crucial time.
Salford take their one big chance in extra time, and that's that. Disappointing for sure, but a season to reflect positively on in time.

Not sure what the game plan is here from #GTFC, certainly not asking enough questions of the Salford backline.
Need to show some more bravery in possession to play through the Salford press. Easy to suck the intensity out of the game when the ball is going out of play so often.

Second half was a tough watch. Salford were always going to try and frustrate but #GTFC played into their hands.
It’s only half time and Town have travelled well this term, so will still fancy their chances, but we need to see more of what has got them to this position.

It was the dream start for #GTFC as Staunton volleyed in the opener in the first minute - but Salford responded well.
They got back on level before Town could settle and had the edge physically in key areas before their controversial second.
