Iranian TV aired interviews with F-5 jet pilots who hit Camp Buehring in Kuwait on March 1.
They flew in total radio silence below 15m to evade radar, deliberately bypassed other targets (power lines, refineries) to hit the base directly.
They reported major fires and secondary explosions including burning helicopters.
The chaos triggered Kuwaiti air defenses, which—likely mistaking them for enemy aircraft—reportedly shot down three US F-15E Strike Eagle jets preparing to strike Iran.
