It's been roughly 10 years ago that I entered the VR space. It just can't get always upward and better. There has to be natural stagnation.
That said, I'm not shutting down, I'm expanding, hiring freelancers, went part time to have more time for the game I'm currently developing.
So here's some positivity.

I get why VR studios thing jumping to flat is a life-line.
The addressable audience is 50x larger.... but the number of competing titles is also ~50x larger.
So if you didn't build a sustainable customer/fan base in one context, why would you expect to now?

Same! Fun fact, London Heist has a secret Big Head mode ala Goldeneye 64 that can be activated with a secret d-pad combo.
It didn't become publicly known till years later, but the devs made sure I got to try it during my demo, right after asking how much Goldeneye I played.
