Every successful HS coach needs a strong right hand man that will be loyal to him & never undermine him. If you look at some of the best programs, they have loyal, smart Number 2 guys. WHO DONT WANT TO BETRAY THE HC. Too many assistant coaches with personal agendas

Culture is laid brick by brick during the season and out of season. We had tough competitors who completely Burned the Ships. Ryan Schwieger (Holding our championship belt) is finishing up his career playing professional basketball in Germany and is now beginning the next chapter as a future leader in the coaching world. Brock Bowen (Pictured with my wife and I) showed up everyday and worked hard to reach his ceiling and now he is doing in the work place. Kyle Fraizer (Bottom passing the plate) just graduated from William and Mary and now pursuing a career in international buisness. The standard never changes — toughness, accountability, sacrifice, and relentless work. It works in basketball and in life. That mindset is exactly what Burning Ships is about. As we gear up for the '26-'27 campaign, I reflect on this past season. Upon reflection, I MUST get better as a coach. These young men need better coaching, better mentorship, better counseling, better guidance. I'M COMMITTED. #ItsJustUs
