Thomas H. Sanderson Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan. Sanderson Lab focuses on developing new therapies to prevent brain damage.
The final bit of my PhD work from the @SandersonLab is now out in iScience!

Welcome aboard 🚂 @SandersonLab! Thomas Sanderson is one of the newest associate editors at #TheFASEBJournal. We're happy to have you on the team! Check out his bio here: bit.ly/3MHYIIk
A big month at the @SandersonLab, PhD student @FogoGarrett received NoA for his F99/K00 to fund his pre- AND post-doctoral training. New Assistant Professor @joseph_wider landed a DoD grant. Today we received NoA for a NIH U44 grant. Lots of exciting studies to keep us busy!
Excited to share that I have received a Transition to Postdoc F99/K00 Fellowship from the NIA! This will support the conclusions of my work in the @SandersonLab as well as a transition to studying mitochondria in age-related neurodegenerative diseases
Three research teams from @UMichWeil were awarded funding from the Department of Defense for research on traumatic brain injury. Totaling $4.4 million, the grants support continued development of solutions to transform TBI care. Read more:

Big congratulations to @FogoGarrett from Dr. Thomas Sanderson's lab for being awarded an F31 on "Investigating mitochondrial dynamics in cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury using novel morphological analyses and computational modeling"! 🧠💻
I'm excited to share that I have received a #F31#NRSA award from @NINDSnews to continue my work in the @SandersonLab on mitochondrial dynamics in stroke!
The FDA has granted De Novo classification to Michigan Medicine medical device software spin-off company Fifth Eye’s first product, the Analytic for Hemodynamic Instability (AHI). Learn more about AHI and what this classification enables the team to do:
