As if Internet, journals, e-mail or other means of communication vanished, US/Canada took opposite actions from rest of world. Today, Canadian licensing authorities are busy removing MD’s licenses and setting maximum allowed daily narcotic doses for chronic non-malignant pain.

Anesthesia: tracheal intubation stressful for body. We administer narcotic first, not for pain, but to avoid physiologic stress. 1) “I feel sick, I don’t like it” vs. 2) “Wow, man, what a trip, what’s that stuff?” Latter at risk of addiction should they need a narcotics Rx later.

I don’t eat anything fried in restaurants because of seed oils. Visiting St. John’s, Newfoundland for tourism plus professional annual meeting. Having steak and fries today however! Who would have thought? See why in photos.

1) I was born in Romania. 2 families, 4 adults and 3 kids in two rooms. Later we were 4 of us in two rooms but shared tiny kitchen and shared bathroom, seven for all needs and 4 more for showers and baths. At the time, any educated folk knew the communists for what they were

several ovens, 5-6 bedrooms, a huge villa. I knew then what all that meant, 10 years old. Today, our educated class believe in a Global Warming theory which would see us all have a lot less luxuries, preached by jet-set, huge yacht and multiple mansions’ owners.

These educated Canadians might know the science, (they are experts on the Kardashians), but the hypocrisy in plain sight and the ‘follow the money’ approach is frankly easier. As a 10 year old, I knew the media was all propaganda, yet today most adults drink it like Kool-Aid.

I was told recently that certain beliefs we hold in medicine do not need proof with placebo/large observational studies, as we (should) all accept them. I think beliefs we do not question are religious beliefs. If not, lobotomies would still be performed.

1) Happened this week in Ontario wine country. Went to bakery/coffee house owned by high-end restaurant at nearby top winery. Had a chicken liver pâté portion. Light, like mousse, with aspic on top. Divine, best liver I ever had. Took two home, but item did not seem to sell well.

2) Went to same winery for tasting. Sommelier said she does food-wine pairings and the divine paté is mostly rejected (I guess without trying as people ‘don’t eat liver’). That is the sad state today, no one rejecting doughnuts, but a top delicacy of a highly nutritious food…

Just watched ABC News report and read JAMA Harvard-authored long term low carb diet study, weight is being measured. Their ‘low carb’ is not low. They admit it works but need plant based fats and complex starches = ‘high quality’ carbs. Animal fats are bad and don’t work as well.

Since Google executive admitted (on video) to presenting UN approved results on top (or only?) for ‘climate change’ searches, (similar for medical topics), do we know of a good ‘no algorithms’ search engine? Tried a few, most are not much good at finding the best articles.

Drove 74 km today to sausage factory/shop to buy nitrite free, naturally smoked meats and other meat-based dishes. None of the items (soups, goulash, cabbage rolls) contain seed oils. The ready to eat (eg schnitzel) are fried in animal fats. Keep a few fresh and freeze rest.
