Active Black Country
@bcbeactive is looking for new trustees from community organisations to help us tackle inactivity and support our mission to get more people to be active, move more and play sport. What is involved in being a trustee? As a trustee, you will help lead Active Black Country and keep us on track with our mission and purpose. You might ask questions to help us think differently, make suggestions to move things forward, or act as a sounding board for ideas. We especially welcome applicants from under-represented or marginalised groups, including people from ethnically diverse communities and those with a disability or long-term health condition. The post is not remunerated but out of pocket expenses can be paid. And we can provide training and support to help you excel as a trustee. How to apply: To apply, please submit your expression of interest explaining why you are keen on joining our Board, and how you are a good candidate. For an informal discussion on any aspect of the role, please contact Ian Carey (Chief Executive Officer). Email: Ian.carey@Activeblackcountry.co.uk Closing date: Friday 19 June
