Sgt. Singleton was recognized by Dr. McKay Robinson, Superintendent of Canyons School District, for his service within our SRO program. As the school year concludes, we bid farewell to several SROs while also welcoming new members to our educational community. Congratulations!

Our officers recently stopped a driver traveling 62 MPH on a Sandy roadway. No matter where you are in our city, that speed is simply too fast. Please slow down, follow the rules of the road, and help keep Sandy's streets safe for everyone.

72 MPH in a 40 MPH zone. A motorcycle traveling at that speed covers more than 100 feet every second. Less time to react. Longer stopping distances. Greater risk of serious injury or death. Speed limits save lives. This rider was stopped before tragedy struck. #SlowDownSandy
