Tadeusz Kościuszko. Ole TK. A Polish national, he helped build West Point and fought in the Revolutionary War. When he died in Switzerland, General Kościuszko left his assets for freed American slaves. His monument at West Point deserves to be visited more often.

1826: The Eggnog Riot at West Point was caused by a drunken Christmas Day party in the Barracks of the academy. A large quantity of whiskey was smuggled in to make eggnog for the party. 70 cadets were court-martialed. #Christmas
